Florida 55+ Communities

Age-restricted active-adult communities across Florida, from single-town developments to enormous multi-county communities like The Villages.

Florida has one of the largest concentrations of age-restricted 55+ communities in the country, ranging from a few hundred homes to tens of thousands. Deed restrictions typically require at least one resident per home to be 55 or older, with limits on how long younger visitors can stay. Most combine HOA dues with amenity access (pools, fitness centers, clubhouses) and vary widely in cost, from modest manufactured-home communities to large master-planned developments with resort-style amenities.
